Position Overview

We are in search of a compassionate and proficient Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a key player within our dedicated imaging team. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technologies, you will perform diagnostic examinations while cultivating collaborative relationships with clinicians and contributing to patient care through precise and timely imaging.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Execute a range of ultrasound procedures, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during exams by communicating each step with clarity and empathy
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce exceptional diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Document all procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records electronically
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practice methodologies

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
