Senior Accountant

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with a background in Manufacturing Accounting to join our Accounting team! This role will be responsible for overseeing the entry and review of transactions related to our manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing material batching, production batching, and job closures.
• Collaborating with other departments on these transactions.
• Handling various month-end responsibilities, including processing journal entries for rebates, commissions, inventory, work in progress (WIP), and revenue.
• Conducting detailed research and precise calculations.

Qualifications

• Experience with the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the COSO internal control framework.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Ability to focus on transaction processing with strong attention to detail.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant work experience is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting and financial analysis, particularly in a manufacturing setting, is essential.
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting, specifically in subledger or general ledger accounting.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including sumif, lookup functions, and pivot tables, is a must.
