The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience. Read below for more requirements. Responsibilities Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions. Provide care in a fast-paced, urgent and emergency environment. Perform minor medical operations and advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries. Plan long‑term care needs. Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being. Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Provide basic bedside care. Qualifications ACLS certification. BLS certification. PALS certification. Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, and lift up to 20 pounds (up to 50 pounds when moving or lifting patients). Strong coping skills for a fast‑paced environment and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds. *Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
