We are looking for a dependable Receptionist - Level 1 to support daily front desk operations at an in-person workplace in Mission,KS. This is a Contract position created to provide contract coverage for an employee leave, with an initial duration of 2 months and the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will bring a strong customer service approach, strong organization skills, and the ability to handle routine office services in a detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome visitors and employees at the front desk, maintain a positive first impression, and manage visitor access in line with site security practices.

• Issue guest and parking passes, monitor adherence to workplace entry procedures, and respond appropriately to safety or emergency situations.

• Coordinate workplace support tasks such as mail handling, office supply distribution, service requests, and onboarding preparation for new team members.

• Arrange business-related reservations and support requests for dining, meetings, or other workplace activities as needed.

• Address questions, concerns, and service issues from staff, guests, and colleagues with a solution-focused and courteous approach.

• Organize on-site meetings and events by securing space, preparing rooms, overseeing setup and breakdown, and ensuring materials arrive on time.

• Work with janitorial, maintenance, and external service providers to submit and track work orders or workplace needs.

• Communicate clearly with team members and follow manager direction to complete established tasks and standard office procedures accurate

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience in reception, office support, or a related customer-facing role.
• Ability to follow established routines, detailed instructions, and standard workplace procedures.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for handling routine inquiries and sharing information effectively.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational abilities with careful attention to detail and follow-through.
• Detail-oriented demeanor and customer service skills suited to interacting with employees, visitors, and vendors.
