Quality Control Coordinator

Conduct ongoing quality control for reverse mortgage (HECM and Proprietary) and HELOC pipelines Ensure adherence to HUD, investor, federal, state, and regulatory requirements Manage pre- and post-closing QC processes Manage post-closing loan selection and file delivery for review Track service level agreements and communicate findings to appropriate parties Mitigate findings with the QC provider Identify loans requiring FHA Self-report Identify compliance risks and concerns and report them to Management Analyze QC results to determine trends and develop process enhancements with Operations Management Summarize and log pre- and post-closing audit findings and create monthly reports Communicate audit findings and remediation to management Manage external programs and vendors used for quality control tasks Communicate alerts and underwriting-guideline updates to the QC vendor Select loans for pre-funding QC audits after final underwriting approval and before closing Issue Operations clearance to close Support Operations in addressing patterns of deficiencies discovered during QC Perform other compliance-related and assigned duties Requirements Minimum 3 years of industry experience in quality control, underwriting, or equivalent FHA/reverse mortgage experience is required Strong understanding of mortgage lending regulatory compliance, including TILA, RESPA, Reg B, and Reg C Ability to exercise independent judgment and use problem-solving skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines Ability to work independently with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with internal and external customers Detail-oriented and highly motivated to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint Must reside in an eligible state; Longbridge is unable to hire candidates residing in MA, CT, or NH Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in quality control processes for reverse mortgages and HELOCs, ensuring compliance with HUD and regulatory requirements while effectively managing audit findings and vendor communications.
