Property Accountant

Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant to manage the general ledger and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. This role plays a critical part in month-end close, financial analysis, and audit support, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Key Responsibilities Maintain and oversee the general ledger for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and analyze monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies Create and distribute monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages Prepare journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Collaborate with property management and asset management teams on financial matters Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3+ years of accounting experience , preferably in commercial real estate Proven experience in commercial property accounting Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications CPA or CPA candidate is a plus Experience with commercial real estate accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) #J-18808-Ljbffr HRB
