Hospice Volunteer Internship for Healthcare Students in Lubbock, TX!

Bristol Hospice Lubbock

Are you a healthcare student looking for meaningful, hands-on experience in patient care? Join Bristol Hospice as a Volunteer Intern and make a lasting difference in the lives of our patient and their families while gaining valuable exposure to the healthcare field. This is an UNPAID internship opportunity.

Opportunities Include:

Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
Assisting with light activities such as reading, music, or conversation
Supporting families and caregivers
Gaining insight into interdisciplinary teamwork (nursing, social work, chaplaincy, volunteer services, and more)

Requirements:

Compassion, reliability, and a willingness to serve
Completion of hospice volunteer training and onboarding requirements (provided by Bristol Hospice)
Commitment to a minimum of 2 hours per week; or have a flexible schedule
