Position Overview Position Type: Middle School Teaching Date Posted: 6/10/2026 Location: Orange Prep Academy Date Available: 09/01/2026 Closing Date: Until Filled Job Description Assumes professional responsibility for providing specialized learning experiences and supervision of students with disabilities using an in-class model, within the regular classroom. The focus is to develop in each student the skills, attitudes, and knowledge to meet and exceed the State Core Curriculum Content Standards as outlined in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for the student, using approved curricula and directives of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Resource Teacher work collaboratively with the classroom teacher, other members of the school staff, particularly the Child Study Team, and with parents of each student. Certification(s) Teacher of Elementary (K-6) Teacher of Students with Disabilities Salary As per negotiated salary guide Commensurate with education and experience Starting salary begins at $73,289.00 Benefits New Jersey pension enrollment for retirement (TPAF/PERS/DCRP) Eligibility for health, vision and dental coverage, 403(b) plan, and flexible spending accounts, all subject to plan terms Paid time off (PTO) earned on an accrual basis as per negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement Tuition Reimbursement as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement Bargaining Unit Orange Education Association Application For consideration, please apply online at
