MRI Technologist Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift: 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 18:00) with weekend coverage of 16 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday, with 8 additional hours on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Job Description We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to provide quality imaging services. The traveler will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to perform scans while collaborating with other health professionals. Responsibilities Perform MRI scans as per physician's orders and departmental protocols. Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures. Ensure the accuracy of images produced for diagnostic purposes. Collaborate with medical staff to discuss patient care and imaging needs. Document and maintain patient records within the Cerner and Fuji Synapse systems. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered MRI technician. Certifications Required: BCLS, ARRT (MR). First-timers accepted if registered with 2 years of MRI experience. IV Starts required; PACS/Contrast experience preferred.
