Duties

Help

Develops Air Force Reserve manpower programs. Manage all Air Force Reserve manpower resources in all Units, Associations, MAJCOMs, Combatant Commands, Defense Agencies, Joint Staff and Office of the Secretary of Defense totaling over 85,000 full and part-time Reserve military, Air Reserve Technician, and US Civilian end strength.

Serves as senior staff analyst on the Air Force manpower program. Provides the Directorate with objective assessments of the effectiveness and efficiency of agency programs. Provides expert analysis of a wide range of comprehensive and difficult to define programs.

Performs an agency management advisory role. Applies a wide range of quantitative and qualitative methods for assessing the impact of all Air Force manpower programs in support of AF-wide long-range goals and objectives.

Represents the Directorate in a wide variety of contexts. Establishes, develops, and maintains contact with appropriate officials from various organizations within the Defense establishment, including OSD, Army, Navy, and the Defense Agencies.

Provides technical oversight to manpower programmers in planning, justifying, budgeting and defending AF manpower within the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) for all Reserve Component programs.
