OverviewLutron is seeking a Software Engineering Co-Op to join our collaborative team and contribute to high-impact projects. In this role, you will help design and deliver software driven solutions that power smart lighting and shading systems. ResponsibilitiesYour co-op at Lutron could offer you the opportunity to work on: Software design, development, and testing Code reviews and technical discussions Software debugging, testing and tracing Driving active projects in partnership with cross functional teams Learning and applying newly adopted tools and technologies to enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability QualificationsWe seek talented, success-minded people with the desire and ability to make things happen. Our baseline requirements are simple: You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering Your cumulative GPA is at least 3.20 You are a rising junior, rising senior, or master's student at the start of the co-opYou have broad interests in application software, design and development You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position. Willing and available to work on-site 5 days per week Lutron is a team-oriented environment, and you will work within these teams to look at broad issues and identify root causes, not just quick fixes. You must have a willingness to ask tough questions, seek out new resources and work hard to find the best solution.
