About the Role: The Assistant Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing administrative, clinical, and educational leadership to our nursing team. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures. Additionally, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of care and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Provide administrative leadership to the nursing team, including scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, including medication management, wound care, and infection control Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Conduct regular rounds to ensure that nursing staff are providing high-quality patient care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and manage the nursing budget Requirements: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio Minimum 2 years of experience in nursing leadership or management Strong clinical and administrative skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills About Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation: At Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, we are committed to providing individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services that inspire our guests to achieve the full and meaningful life they desire.
