Job Description
Title: Surgical Technician - Orthopedics

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- 3 days a week: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- 2 days a week: Rotating days and evenings (latest shift: 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- MA License
- BLS-AHA certification
- EPIC experience
- Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgeries
- Ability to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases
- Experience in spine procedures is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with surgical procedures and ensure the operating room is prepared and sterile.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to support patient care during orthopedic and ophthalmic surgeries.
- Maintain equipment and instruments used in surgeries.
- Adhere to safety protocols and assist with post-operative care as required.
- Demonstrate flexibility in rotating between multiple facilities, if necessary.

Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccine required prior to start; exemptions not accepted.
- 2-3 call shifts may be required, with a response time of 30 minutes.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
