Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Social Worker in Illinois
• Experience in school-based social work or closely related environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of child development, crisis intervention, and case management

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and counseling to students coping with personal, social, or behavioral challenges
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster a positive and supportive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records and document progress in accordance with school policies and relevant regulations
• Act as a liaison between outside agencies, school personnel, and families to coordinate services for students
• Develop and facilitate group sessions or workshops addressing social-emotional topics
