We’re seeking a qualified Addictions Counselor to support individuals affected by substance use disorders. The counselor will provide compassionate, client-centered care and help clients work toward recovery goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client assessments and support individualized treatment planning.
• Provide counseling and facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Document services and maintain accurate, confidential records.
• Monitor client progress and coordinate care with other providers.
• Follow ethical standards, clinical guidelines, and applicable confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

• Current ADT, CSCAD, CACAD, LGADC, LCADC, LMSW, LGPC, LCPC, LCSWC Maryland Board issued credential is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in addictions counseling.
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to respectful, recovery-oriented care.Life’s Energy Wellness Center Inc. is a multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health clinic.

A private office with desk, computer and phone access will be made available to complete tasks. • The facility will house varied behavioral health therapies and other therapeutic and recovery support  services.

Clinic Facility work hours are Monday-Thursday 8am to 8pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm; scheduling changes and modifications must be requested in writing with 30 notice to the Clinical Director. .
