Position Visitor Information Program Assistant I Location Kahului Airport Salary & Shift Salary: $3,266 to $4,139 per month (SR-08, Steps C-I) Level I. Shift work: rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Greeting, welcoming, and assisting the traveling public at Kahului Airport. Providing information of interest to visitors to encourage travel to the major islands in the Hawaiian chain. Performing various clerical duties and other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Basic Experience: ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions, with a high degree of verbal skill, or a high school diploma or equivalent. General Experience: One (1) year of work experience demonstrating patience, tact, and an even temper in dealing with others. Driver's License: valid driver's license at the time of appointment. Substitutions allowed: relevant substitutions as described in the complete Minimum Qualification Requirements apply. Security Clearance Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Clearance – pre‑employment fingerprint‑based criminal history record check required.
