Insurance experience is not required. Successful agents come from many backgrounds, including sales, customer service, education, agriculture, banking, healthcare, military service, and business ownership. What matters most is your initiative, relationship-building ability, and commitment to serving your community. 

Through our financed agent program, you will receive: 

• Base salary support as you establish your business 

• Commission and bonus opportunities

• Local leadership and underwriting support 

• Tools and resources to help you build your client base 

As an Insurance Agent, you will: 

• Build trusted relationships with individuals, families, farmers, and business owners 

• Learn about customers’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage 

• Develop referral sources and community partnerships 

• Prospect for new customers and follow up on sales opportunities 

• Grow and manage a book of business in your Wisconsin territory 

• Provide knowledgeable, responsive service throughout the customer relationship 

Agents who meet established performance expectations generally earn $75,000 to $85,000 in total first-year compensation , including base salary, commissions, and applicable bonuses. Actual earnings may vary based on individual performance and business results.

Compensation:

$48,000 - $85,000 (Base Salary PLUS Commissions and Bonuses)

Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with personalized solutions. 

• Identify potential risks for clients and recommend appropriate insurance products to safeguard their assets. 

• Develop and implement a strategic business plan to grow your client base and achieve sales targets. 

• Engage with local communities by participating in events and organizations to build a network of referrals. 

• Collaborate with underwriting professionals to tailor insurance packages that align with client requirements. 

• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. 

• Stay informed about industry trends and product updates to offer clients the most current and relevant advice. 

Qualifications:

• Experience building and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and community members.

• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts in a clear and relatable manner.

• Strong organizational skills to manage databases and records efficiently.

• Ability to stay informed about industry trends and policy changes to provide up-to-date advice.

• Comfortable networking with local businesses and homeowners to expand client base and influence community presence.

• Sales experience and a history of achieving performance goals are valued; however, we also welcome motivated individuals who are eager to build a successful career in insurance sales.

• Experience working with clients and business partners to facilitate applications, policy servicing, underwriting requirements, or other customer-focused processes is a plus.

• Licensed in property, casualty, and life insurance—or committed to obtaining licenses within 60 days of being hired.
