Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Looking for DSP's to fill positions in Forest Hills and Monroeville locations.

About the Role
This position involves providing essential daily care and personalized support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. You will be instrumental in fostering independence, promoting dignity, and encouraging community inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
As a DSP, your primary focus will be supporting the health, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Personal Care Assistance: Providing dignified assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Health and Wellness: Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring proper nutrition, and monitoring for any health or safety concerns.
- Community Integration: Facilitating active participation in the community by planning and accompanying individuals on outings, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Empowerment: Implementing personalized care plans designed to help individuals achieve their goals and develop essential life skills.
- Home Management: Assisting with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Documentation: Completing required documentation accurately and on time (e.g., daily logs, incident reports).
