Bartender Position

The Foundry Hotel Asheville, Curio Collection is seeking an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests in a fast-paced and high-end environment. This is a part-time, hourly position in the hospitality/restaurant industry. The Bartender will report directly to the Lead Bartender & Food and Beverage Manager and will work collaboratively with the entire food and beverage team to ensure exceptional service is provided to all guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with guests, taking orders, and making menu recommendations
• Ensure all drinks are made to the highest standard of quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
• Monitor and restock inventory to prevent shortages and waste
• Comply with all state and local laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
• Adhere to all hotel and food and beverage policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail making and mixology
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
