Billing Specialist

Billing SpecialistThis role prepares invoices and supporting documentation, verifies billing information against contractual requirements, and enters invoices into customer billing systems. The AR Specialist works closely with operations and back-office team members to ensure data accuracy, resolve issues, and maintain contract-related job and client information in the ERP system. This position also follows up with customers to resolve invoice issues and collect outstanding payments.Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare invoices and supporting documentationVerify timesheet/supporting document accuracy based on contractual requirementsPartner with operations and back office team members to ensure data accuracy & resolve issuesEnter invoices into customer billing systemsPerform contract related job and client set ups in the ERP systemFollow up with customers to resolve issues and collect aged invoicesPerform other administrative duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Minimum of two years of experience in an administrative roleDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred Requirements:Experience in accounts receivable or billingAssociate's or bachelor's degreePhysical Requirements:Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the use of standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer)Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer are requiredOccasional standing, walking, and movement throughout the office to access equipment and collaborate with team membersThe ability to view a computer screen for extended periods, requiring good vision or corrective lenses if neededMay occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 15 poundsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
