You can see broken operations from across the room — the handoff nobody owns, the priority that dies between meetings, the founder who's still the only one who can push work across the finish line. What you haven't had is the authority to fix all of it. Thrive Wealth Group is a founder-led retirement-planning practice with a visible brand, sustained client demand, and a real service team. What we don't have is you: the operator who turns founder vision into an operating system the whole team runs — and owns. The weekly operating rhythm: priorities, owners, deadlines, escalations, stalled work surfaced early, and loops closed. The core client journey — onboarding, review preparation, post-meeting follow-through, and planning-to-service handoffs — documented, trainable, and dependable. Standards and accountability: CRM and task discipline, service expectations, and practical metrics that show the team what matters this week. Direct work with our founder, Ben Heizer: translate his priorities into executable plans, challenge constructively, and reduce how much has to run through him. Both sides of the job — design the system, then get into the details personally when that's what completion requires. A seat next to the founder and a visible mandate. This is our priority hire. Real day-to-day authority over operating cadence, workflows, standards, metrics, and follow-through. An established team across client service, new business, marketing, office management, and project support — people and workflows to align, not a blank org chart. A base range of $85,000–$145,000, deliberately negotiable to the candidate and the final shape of the mandate. Health, dental, vision, and life insurance; HSA; 401(k) with matching; paid time off; parental leave; and professional-development support. At least three years of operations management with proof you owned a process, queue, standard, team, or metric — and real authority to change how work got done. A builder who still operates: you document, train, chase, elevate, and close loops yourself. Operations experience in an advisory firm, RIA, insurance or annuity organization, bank or trust company, or another regulated client-service business is a strong signal; eMoney familiarity is a plus. Executives who say "I manage; I don't do." Coordinators who organize tasks well but can't show decision authority or completed process change. Anyone looking for remote work or a path into sales. This is a full-time, in-person role at our Lincolnshire office — the work depends on founder proximity, trust, and changing how a team behaves, and none of that happens over video. The trade is real: direct access, visible ownership, and results you can point to within months.
