About the Position
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction or remodeling experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
The successful candidate must have their own basic hand and power tools and be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to perform a variety of tasks on residential and/or commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform general skilled labor and construction-related tasks
- Assist with remodeling, renovation, repair, and installation projects
- Perform demolition, framing, drywall, painting, finish work, and other construction tasks as needed
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials accurately
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow project plans, instructions, and safety procedures
- Identify and communicate potential job-site issues
- Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Assist other trades and team members as needed
- Complete projects according to schedule and company standards
Qualifications
- Previous construction, remodeling, maintenance, or skilled labor experience required
- Strong knowledge of basic construction practices and tools
- Ability to read and follow measurements and basic project instructions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Must provide and maintain your own basic hand and power tools
- Ability to safely lift and move materials and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
