The Position

Account Executive-Near Patient Care

The Opportunity

As an Account Executive – Near Patient Care, you will lead total account management and drive commercial adoption for the Roche Point of Care (POC) portfolio across the healthcare continuum. In this role, you will champion our market-leading molecular POC diagnostics-specializing in Respiratory, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), and Women’s Health alongside hospital glucose monitoring platforms and integrated healthcare IT solutions.

This is a field-based role covering Idaho, parts of Oregon and parts of Washington. We prefer candidates to live in Boise,ID. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the territory.

Job Facts

• Drive new customer acquisition and strategic account expansion across Integrated Health Networks (IHNs), hospital laboratories, emergency departments, urgent care centers, and physician office laboratories.
• Penetrate large, complex IHN accounts to engage and influence key buying authorities, including Laboratory Directors, Department Chairs, POC Coordinators, and executive hospital leadership.
• Position Roche healthcare IT solutions and middleware connectivity to seamlessly integrate decentralized diagnostic instruments across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Leverage clinical and financial acumen to uncover customer needs, articulate clinical workflows, and demonstrate tangible return on investment (ROI).
• Formulate and execute territory-specific business plans and robust pipeline forecasts to consistently meet and exceed strategic sales targets.
• Conduct compelling system demonstrations, product presentations, and business reviews for Point of Care committees, VIP meetings, and industry conferences.
• Partner cross-functionally with field application specialists, medical affairs, technical support, and commercial operations to ensure flawless implementation and customer success.

Who you are

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• You bring 3+ years of relevant consultative sales or equivalent related experience
• Participation in an approved accelerated development, fellowship or rotational program may be considered in lieu of experience
• You demonstrate strong oral and written communication capabilities, with a proven track record of delivering impactful executive presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior sales and account management experience within Point of Care (POC) diagnostics, molecular testing, or hospital laboratory settings.
• Proven track record navigating Integrated Health Networks (IHNs), hospital buying committees, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
• Familiarity with medical device connectivity, healthcare information technology (HIT), Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration, and diagnostic middleware solutions.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder capital equipment evaluations and recurring reagent/assay sales cycles.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Boise, ID is $86,700-160,900. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
