What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and drivers at the front desk, following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related access control activities for a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify identification and/or visitor records, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and policy compliance.
• Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Maintain front desk logs, visitor documentation, and delivery-related check-in information, while communicating clearly with staff, contractors, and guests regarding site expectations.
• Support emergency response activities from the front desk by following post orders, sharing timely information, and assisting with security-related reporting and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
