Plumbing Project Manager

The expected salary range for this position is $185,000 - $225,000 depending on experience. No staffing agency candidates will be considered for this position. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Description Manage commercial plumbing projects from start to completion, including preparation of estimates, takeoffs, purchasing of material, leasing equipment and scheduling employees. Work with clients, design professionals and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials. Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, scope of work outlines, equipment information to ensure all aspects of a project align with the client's needs, industry standards, code requirements and design intent. Review site conditions with field trades to address challenges to completion of work, delivery of equipment and materials on site. Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications. Maintain regular communication with the client's management team, adjusting schedule and manpower requirements as needed. Requirements Minimum 10+ years' experience in construction management for commercial HVAC or plumbing projects. Proven experience managing commercial plumbing and HVAC projects in the $4million to $40million range. Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents and execute projects based on scope of work requirements, specifications and schedules. Excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently. Good computer skills with strong working knowledge of Word, Adobe, Excel and Outlook. Proficient in Navisworks with knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit for BIM coordination and modeling. Professional certifications such as an associate’s / bachelor’s degree in construction‑related fields or engineering preferred; HS diploma/GED required.
