Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a rotating weekend shift requiring MN licensure and prior critical care and travel experience.

Job Details

• Work in the ICU with regular floating to Med Surg required,
• Adult patient population,
• Rotating 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (0700-1930 and 1900-0730) with a 36-hour guarantee,
• Every weekend work required,
• No on-call responsibilities,
• Uses Epic EMR,

Job Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (compact license not accepted),
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC),
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care/ICU experience required,
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required,
• Med Surg and Telemetry trained,
• Able to perform IV insertions,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to specialty,
• Two supervisory references with employment dates required,

Additional Information

• Provide compassionate, customer and family-focused nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care,
• Accountable for quality of nursing services delivered and adherence to professional nursing practice standards,
• Navy blue scrubs required,
• MN DHS Net Study and fingerprinting required for all patient-facing positions,
• Prior work history with the health system must be listed on resume if applicable,
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and may not be honored after submittal,
• Temporary MN nursing license accepted if candidate has applied for permanent licensure and holds the temporary license at time of submittal
