Role Description The Behavioral Health Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater New Orleans Region. This position involves implementing ABA-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a qualified clinician, following individualized treatment and behavior support plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and recording data on client behavior, assisting with skills training in areas such as communication, social skills, and daily living, and helping to manage challenging behaviors in a safe and respectful manner. The technician will collaborate with therapists, families, and school staff, participate in team meetings, and maintain clear and professional documentation. This role also involves supporting clients in home, school, and community settings while adhering to ethical and confidentiality standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis for implementing and understanding structured behavioral programs. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should possess skills in Behavioral Intervention to support behavior change, crisis prevention, and skill acquisition. Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Psychology to understand developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred.
