Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the radiology department. This contract assignment requires dedication to patient care, safety, and technical excellence over a 13-week period.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
  
  
• 
  Operate GE ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostically high-quality images.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging exams.
  
  
• 
  Maintain accurate documentation of procedures in the EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to all unit policies, dress codes, and safety guidelines.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate effectively with radiology staff and physicians to support patient diagnosis.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  ARDMS credential and BLS certification required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound tech experience, preferably in interventional radiology.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated proficiency with GE ultrasound systems.
  
  
• 
  Strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and patient positioning.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled.
  
  
• 
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
