Position Overview

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Division at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level on an academic track. This recruitment is part of our ongoing expansion, specifically for a critical care cardiologist.

About the Cardiovascular Division

The Cardiovascular Division has established a strong regional and national reputation for excellence in cardiovascular clinical care and research. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the leadership of the Cardiovascular Division and the Lillehei Heart Institute to further the clinical and academic objectives of the institution.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited ACGME Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Cardiology/Critical Care.

• Board eligible or certified in both Cardiology and Critical Care Cardiology.

• Possession or ability to obtain a medical license and DEA registration in Minnesota, meeting the necessary criteria for credentialing and privileges.

• Eligibility to receive work authorization in the U.S. from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, maintaining legal status as per VISA requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is jointly employed by our organization and the University of Minnesota. The total salary is competitive and aligned with AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical compensation, which corresponds to clinical responsibilities, is provided through our organization. The salary range for this role is between $379,000 and $677,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and clinical full-time equivalent (cFTE). The salary from the University will be based on the academic contributions of the individual hired.
