Mechanical Design Engineer | Henrico, VA (Contract)

BizTech Fusion is hiring on behalf of one of its clients, for a Mechanical Design Engineer.

Location: Henrico, VA



Duration: Contract



Experience: 4-7 Years

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault
• 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience
• Strong experience in Sheet Metal Design , including support structures and copper components
• Experience with UL891 Standards
• Experience designing:
  • Power Distribution Units (PDU)
  • Remote Power Panels (RPP)
  • Tap-Off Units
  • Main Switchboards
• Knowledge of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage equipment
• Good understanding of Manufacturing Processes

Preferred:

• Experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, and electrical enclosures
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
