Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan, promoting optimal health outcomes in the ICU. Provide clear, culturally sensitive education to patients and families to support health literacy and transitions of care. Direct and supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other ancillary personnel; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the broader care team. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record. Participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and ongoing professional development; float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation. Requirements Current New Mexico RN license or active Multi‑State Compact (eNLC) license. ADN required; BSN preferred. BLS and ACLS required; PALS and NRP required within 12 months of hire. Ability to interpret EKGs and care for critically ill patients. ICU experience or relevant critical care education preferred. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical‑thinking skills; ability to work in a fast‑paced hospital ICU setting; ability to collaborate with a diverse care team.
