Finance Transformation Solutions Consultant 4+ days in-office Our client is seeking a Finance Transformation Solutions Consultant to lead high-impact client engagements from initial relationship development through solution delivery. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and advisory services, partnering directly with private equity sponsors, CFOs, finance executives, and FP&A leaders to solve complex revenue and financial reporting challenges. As a trusted advisor, you will help PE-backed organizations modernize revenue analytics, improve board reporting, and establish scalable financial data infrastructures. You will be responsible for guiding clients through discovery, solution design, commercial structuring, and implementation support while ensuring measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Client Advisory & Business Development Develop and maintain relationships with private equity firms and portfolio company finance leaders, identifying opportunities to drive value through finance transformation initiatives, revenue analytics, ARR reporting, and executive-level decision support. Partner with PE operating teams and C-suite executives to understand strategic priorities and position tailored solutions that address complex financial and operational challenges. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and delivery lifecycle, building long-term relationships and uncovering opportunities for additional engagement. Solution Discovery & Scoping Lead consultative discovery sessions with CFOs, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers, and FP&A teams to assess current-state processes, reporting requirements, and revenue data challenges. Translate business needs into structured solutions by evaluating data sources, systems architecture, analytics requirements, and reporting objectives. Define project scope, implementation approach, and success metrics to ensure alignment between client expectations and deliverable outcomes. Own the development of proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing models, project assumptions, and risk assessments. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are commercially viable, operationally achievable, and positioned for successful delivery. Lead commercial discussions and negotiations, balancing customer needs with business objectives. Solution Demonstration & Implementation Support Deliver tailored platform demonstrations that showcase how solutions address each client's specific revenue model, financial processes, and reporting environment. Support implementation planning and client onboarding to ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery. Remain actively engaged post-contract execution, serving as a strategic partner during implementation and ongoing managed services engagements. Client Success & Growth Ensure a consistent and exceptional client experience from initial engagement through long-term partnership. Monitor customer outcomes and identify opportunities to expand solution adoption and drive additional value creation. Collaborate with product and delivery teams to incorporate customer feedback and continuously enhance service offerings. Ideal Background 4+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, FP&A, Transaction Advisory, Revenue Operations, Management Consulting, Strategic Finance, or related fields. Strong understanding of financial reporting, revenue analytics, SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, retention), and finance systems. Experience engaging with senior finance leaders, private equity stakeholders, and executive decision-makers. Proven ability to manage complex client engagements, structure solutions, and navigate commercial discussions. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
