Senior Executive Recruiter (Manufacturing experience)

MissionHires, on behalf of an established and rapidly growing staffing organization, is seeking a Senior Executive Recruiter to launch and scale a dedicated Direct Hire & Executive Search practice. This is a highly entrepreneurial, producer-first role offering significant autonomy, direct access to ownership, strong base compensation, aggressive uncapped commissions, and long-term upside (profit-sharing and potential equity). Responsibilities Build and grow a Direct Hire & Executive Search practice from the ground up Develop new client relationships and drive net-new business acquisition Expand services and revenue within existing client accounts Own the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through placement Source, assess, qualify, and present candidates; manage interviews and pipelines Negotiate offers, close placements, and ensure successful onboarding Create and refine recruiting workflows, processes, and best practices Maintain robust client and candidate pipelines to drive consistent revenue Partner with executive leadership on practice strategy, planning, and growth initiatives Lay the foundation for future team expansion and scalable operations Track KPIs, billings, and profitability; report progress to leadership Requirements 5+ years of direct hire recruiting experience within an agency environment Preferred: experience recruiting in manufacturing, automotive, light industrial, skilled trades, logistics, or related operational markets Proven full-desk (360) recruiting experience with ownership from sales to placement Demonstrated success in business development, client acquisition, and account growth Consistent, quantifiable production history; able to clearly communicate annual billings Strong hunter mentality with the ability to create opportunities from scratch Excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship management skills High energy, competitive, self-driven, and accountable; comfortable with autonomy Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in building a practice and long-term value Clear, professional communication and executive presence Preferred: recognition such as President’s Club, Top Producer, or Circle of Excellence Ability to work independently with minimal structure; willingness to do early-stage build work Aggressive Uncapped Commission Plan Future Equity / Ownership Potential 401(k) with Company Match Direct Access to Ownership and Decision Makers Significant Autonomy and Entrepreneurial Freedom Opportunity to Build and Lead a New Business Unit Ability to Shape Strategy, Process, and Growth Initiatives Future Team Leadership and Practice Expansion Opportunities Established Brand, Client Relationships, and Market Reputation Nearly 50 Years of Organizational Stability and Success Fast-Paced, Growth-Oriented Culture Focused on Results and Relationships Benefits The biggest benefit isn't the health insurance or 401(k).
