Title: Wire Technician / Assembly Technician
Location: 1562 Reynolds Ave Irvine California 92614
Shift: 1st shift 6AM to 2:30 PM (Tuesday - Saturday rotation)
Pay rate: $21/hr on W2.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Wire Technician to support production and assembly operations in a medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, dependable, and comfortable working with small components and automated equipment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment.
- Monitor material feeds, clear equipment stoppages, and troubleshoot basic issues.
- Use HMIs, computer systems, and measuring tools to support production and quality.
- Follow work orders, SOPs, GMPs, and safety requirements.
- Perform cleaning, inspection, lubrication, packaging, and material handling.
- Maintain accurate records and report quality or safety concerns.
- Work independently and collaboratively to troubleshoot and improve processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree.
- 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing/production experience.
- Basic math skills (arithmetic, algebra, geometry).
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Previous assembly, machine operation, or automated equipment experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Stand for at least 75% of the shift and walk frequently.
- Ability to reach, push/pull, and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally and 5–20 lbs frequently .
- Must be comfortable working in a clean medical device manufacturing environment.
