Senior IT Enterprise Applications Analyst - Production Surveillance

Position SummaryThe Senior IT Enterprise Applications Analyst – Production Surveillance supports Production and Operations by maintaining and enhancing production surveillance systems, with a focus on IFS Merrick Route Surveillance also known as P2 Explorer and related applications.This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and alignment across production data platforms. In addition to core support responsibilities, the Senior Analyst is expected to take increasing ownership of system configuration, data flows, and cross-system integration, while partnering closely with business stakeholders.Over time, this role is expected to evolve into a key contributor in governance and prioritization of system enhancements, including participation in and eventual leadership of the Route Surveillance (RS) change advisory process.Level and salary commensurate with background and experience.Essential Job FunctionsApplication Support & MaintenanceProvide day-to-day support for production surveillance applications including IFS Merrick Route Surveillance, Field Operator, and ProCountAct as a senior point of contact for Production and Operations teams for application and data-related issuesTriage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests in accordance with SLAsLead root cause analysis for recurring or complex issues and drive long-term resolutionLiaise with vendor support teams as needed for issue resolutionConfiguration & System ManagementPerform Route Surveillance configuration updates, including mapping SCADA tags to system objectsEnsure synchronization between ProCount, Field Operator, GeoSCADA, Canary SCADA historian system, and Route SurveillanceTranslate business requirements into system configurations and enhancementsContribute to design and implementation of scalable configuration standardsData Analysis & TroubleshootingInvestigate and resolve data issues in Field Operator trends, cases, and alertsAnalyze production data flows across integrated systems to ensure data integrityDevelop and optimize SQL queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and data validationIdentify systemic data issues and recommend sustainable solutionsEnhancements, Upgrades & Continuous ImprovementTrack new functionality and releases from vendors and assist in planning upgradesParticipate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements following change control processes in a SOX controlled environmentIdentify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance system stability and performanceFacilitate and contribute to prioritization and planning of system enhancementsCollaboration & DocumentationCollaborate with cross-functional teams including members of IT, Production, and Operations departmentsDocument configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps in knowledge repositoriesCommunicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholdersGovernanceParticipate in discussions related to prioritization of Route Surveillance enhancements and changesContribute to the development of processes for managing system changes and improvementsBuild the technical and business context required to support future leadership of the RS change advisory processOver time, take on increased responsibility in coordinating and guiding enhancement decisions across stakeholdersThis job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position.
