License: Required BLS and ARRT-R.
Certifications: National certification required.


Must-Have:
- General X-ray experience, including imaging of head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest.
- Comfort with trauma patients and portables at bedside.
- C-arm experience required; O-arm experience preferred.
- EPIC experience required.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.


Description:
We are seeking a Radiology Tech to join our team.
The facility has 874 licensed beds and is a Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma center.
It operates as a teaching hospital and has dedicated centers for Chest Pain and Stroke.
The department averages 350 to 400 patients per day.
There are 40 operating rooms equipped with 12 C-arms and 2 O-arms available.
On the main level, there are 2 x-ray rooms and 3 fluoroscopy rooms, with 2 additional rooms located in the Emergency Department.
Travelers will be required to rotate shift-by-shift in different areas including the Emergency Department, Operating Room, and main radiology areas.
This position involves working with a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, across various radiology exams.
Support is available from a lead tech and supervisor around the clock.
Radiologists are always on site, and there is a transporter available for the department.
The department promotes teamwork and high clinical skill sets.
This role is best suited for individuals who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering compassionate care.
