Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

With a start date in early August and concluding in late May, this role offers the opportunity to cultivate strong relationships with students and fellow staff members.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Special Education Teaching Certificate (required)
• Experience or training in K-12 special education settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with families, school teams, and external partners
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and student needs as assigned
• Commitment to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students of all abilities

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct instruction and support in accordance with students’ unique learning goals
• Monitor student progress and update documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with general educators, specialists, and families to support student success
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing professional development
