The gRED IT LEAP Research Operations support team is currently supporting technology-enabled solutions for groups across the gRED organization. Our business partners need a highly skilled business analyst to translate business strategy into technology enabled solutions across our ResOps software product portfolio supporting the following areas: Business & Scientific Operations, Research Communication & Training, Contracts and Compliance. Business analytics will inform the long term strategy and solution roadmaps as well as short term goals and initiatives supporting immediate business needs.

Scope of Work:

• Author data flow diagrams, business process diagrams, and other technical documents, as well as functional specifications and test plans for system enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users on driving solutions and providing IT support.
• Develop and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define and maintain the strategic backlog management process.
• Meet with various stakeholders to review system prototypes, collecting and delivering their feedback on structure, navigation, and functionality.
• Create and review training materials, assisting in training where necessary and driving OCM.
• Evaluate existing systems and processes and explore alternative solutions.
• Identify inefficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
• Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for streamlining team and business processes.
• Partners with various personnel within Research Operations, Labs, gRED IT, and Global IT teams on assigned tasks and can lead and drive for results.
• Manage vendor engagements.
• Contribute to our IT testing and QA strategy, and facilitate UAT.
• Define, apply and enforce BA best practices.

Successful candidates will have many of the following attributes: Minimum education level is a bachelors degree, preferably in a science or technology discipline. 7+ years of technical IT experience. BI and Data Visualization project experience. SQL Query experience. UX Design experience. Excellent project management skills. Excellent Agile/Scrum methodology skills. Knowledge of scientific applications and technologies. Space Planning Experience is a plus. A focus on solution delivery, with excellent time management and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with your team, technical IT partners, and customers. Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form to non-technical audiences. Be a self-starter with a passion for continuous self-improvement. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
