We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our K10 Pharmacy Team at The MSKCC Koch Center as an Evening Pharmacy Technician .

Role Overview:

• Compound medications, including chemotherapy, in a clean room environment.
• Perform Inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking).
• Complete annual proficiency assessments.
• Triage phone calls with courtesy and promptness and refer to a pharmacist when applicable.
• Maintain pharmacy files and records.
• Demonstrate proficiency with appropriate pharmacy equipment, systems, and technology.
• Assist with pharmacy inspections.
• Adhere to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred
• PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) required.
• Current NY Technician License
• Omnicell experience is beneficial
• Although prior chemotherapy experience is not required, having strong IV compounding skills is beneficial

Hours :

• Evening shift, typically 2-10PM Monday-Friday, although hours may vary. Weekend and holiday shifts variable depending on the needs of the department.

Pay Range: $29.03 - $44.92FSLA Status: Non-Exempt
