Responsibilities WhatYou’llDo as a Supervisor I: Some of the most important characteristics of a Lewis Services Supervisor I is a desire to learn, an ability to adapt, and a commitment to engaging in safe, constructive interactions with the public and leading staff with support. Accountable for the operational results of General Foremen reporting to you and their crews. Schedule weekly crew visits with General Foreman, developing them in project management, safety leadership, reviewing underperforming jobs to develop an action plan, etc. Implement the Corporate Safety Program within your GF workgroups and hold GFs accountable for its success. Work with General Foremen & Corporate Safety to investigate and settle accident claims quickly, efficiently, and responsibly. Ensure high quality arboricultural work is being performed at all times through the QA/QC process. Ensure equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and purchasing procedures are followed. Create and implement a communication cadence with existing customers, focusing on satisfaction, retention, and development. Ensure compliance with all customers’ contract specifications and requirements. Maintain open communication with Division Manager on all area operational activities. Foster relationships with potential customers as assigned by the Regional Vice President or Division Manager. Understand and administer all company policies and procedures. Attend internal and external training courses. Perform all other duties assigned by the Division Manager or Regional Vice President. Model all Leadership in Action (LIA) principles within area of responsibility while developing and holding GFs accountable. Overall responsible for the professional growth, development, and success of each GF that reports to you. Use job costing reports to identify operational issues (efficiency, planning, cost control) and trends to improve the business. Qualifications What You Bring:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Foreman or related experience. Have a safety champion attitude. Must have a valid driver’s license. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of reviewing and preparing estimates for fixed‑price lump‑sum bids. Basic technology knowledge including e‑mail, Microsoft Office, and smartphones. Able and willing to travel via ground or air transportation. Emergencies may require extended out‑of‑town stays. IF REQUIRED by Territory: Must have ISA Certified Arborist and/or ISA Utility Specialist Certification and/or ISA Certified Tree Worker after one year of employment with company support. Preferred Qualifications: Bi‑lingual (Spanish) would be a plus. Prior customer service experience. Ability to identify local tree species. Ability to learn new programs. QA/QC assessment experience. Demonstrated leadership and project management skills. Technology, Equipment & Tools: Proficient with standard office equipment: computers, phones, scanner, fax, copier. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, etc. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Detail‑oriented and investigative skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Work independently with minimal supervision. Accurately interpret and analyze documents. Effectively engage and interact with operations. Embrace change and focus on process improvements. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Effective communication and training skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Interpersonal and collaboration skills for cross‑functional teamwork. Agile and adaptable to fast‑paced environments. Physical Demands Ability to: Lift 25 lbs. to shoulder height or higher. Push or pull up to 25 lbs. Walk or hike up to one mile on uneven terrain. Endure extreme climate variances (e.g., severe cold to high heat and humidity). Hear, speak, see, and communicate effectively. Operate two‑handed tools and equipment. Regularly stand, walk, sit for extended periods, reach and perform repetitive keystrokes. Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb stairs. Comments: Expect variability in size, proportions, conditions, and weights of supplies, equipment, and work conditions. Environmental Conditions: Continuously: outdoor/office work. Occasionally: noise levels. Frequently: extreme temperatures. Rarely: contact with hazardous materials or air quality issues. Never: confined spaces. FUNCIONES ESENCIALES:

Responsable de los resultados operativos de los capataces generales que dependen de usted y sus cuadrillas. Programar visitas semanales de la cuadrilla con el capataz general, capacitándolos en gestión de proyectos, liderazgo en seguridad, y revisando trabajos de bajo rendimiento para desarrollar un plan de acción, etc. Implementar el Programa de Seguridad Corporativa dentro de sus grupos de trabajo de capataces generales y responsabilizar a sus GF por su éxito. Trabajar con los capataces generales y seguridad corporativa e investigar y resolver reclamos por accidentes de manera rápida, eficiente, y responsable. Asegurarse de que se realicen trabajos de arboricultura de alta calidad a través de los procesos de control y aseguramiento de calidad. Asegurar que se sigan los procedimientos de reparación de equipos, mantenimiento preventivo y compra. Crear e implementar una cadencia de comunicación con clientes existentes, enfocada en la satisfacción, retención y desarrollo. Garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las especificaciones y requisitos contractuales. Mantener comunicación abierta con el gerente de división sobre todas las actividades operativas del área. Usar los informes de costos de trabajo para identificar problemas operativos, de control de costos y tendencias para mejorar el negocio.

CUALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:

Mínimo de 3 años de experiencia como capataz general o experiencia relacionada. Tener una actitud de líder en seguridad. Debe tener una licencia de conducir válida. Sólidas habilidades de comunicación verbal y escrita. Capacidad de revisar y preparar estimaciones para ofertas de suma global a precio fijo. Conocimientos tecnológicos básicos y prácticos, incluyendo correo electrónico, Microsoft Office y teléfonos inteligentes. Capacidad y disposición para viajar en transporte terrestre o aéreo. SI LO REQUIERE el territorio: debe tener certificación de arborista certificado por ISA o certificación de especialista en servicios públicos de ISA o trabajador de árboles certificado por ISA después de un año de empleo con el apoyo de la empresa.
