Head Women’s Soccer Coach fall 2026 Corbett SD 39 – Corbett High School, Corbett, Oregon Job Description Corbett High School Head Women’s Soccer Coach 2026-27 Title: High School – Head Women’s Soccer Coach Classification: Extra Duty Reports To: Athletic Director and Building Administration Terms of Employment: One Athletic Season, renewed annually. Salary to be determined by Board/District 39 Education Association Contract Agreement. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree Preferred 3 years High School Coaching Experience preferred Employment contingent upon satisfactory results of: Criminal history verification – a background check for any convictions directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position. Fingerprinting Essential Job Functions Plan, direct and supervise daily organized practice sessions during the regulated season, including seasonal goals and objectives. Work cooperatively with parents, other coaches, staff, officials, and support programs. Assist the Athletic Director in maintaining athletic facilities and preparing them for competition. Assist the Athletic Director in season planning and game scheduling. Conduct pre‑season meetings with all athletes and parents, outlining schedules, student athletic contracts, and the Student Athletic Handbook. Improve skills and knowledge of each athlete and the team as a whole, focusing on fundamentals, mental skills, athletic performance, and character development. Organize team members according to competitive levels. Enforce appropriate team rules and discipline. Follow OSAA Guidelines and Principles of Sportsmanship. Adhere to athletic eligibility requirements and support student‑athlete academic success by ensuring students meet the district’s academic progress expectations, providing and enforcing interventions when deficiencies are identified. Adhere to the District Athletic Handbook, league Standard Operating Procedures, and OSAA rules. Work harmoniously with the Corbett community, volunteers, parents, and school personnel. Communicate effectively (orally and in writing) with students, parents, officials, and staff. Submit rosters, equipment, and uniform inventory in a timely manner. Monitor expenditures relative to the budget and oversee proper use, care, and return of uniforms and assigned equipment. Supervise and arrange proper supervision of student/athletes during practices, games, travel, and related activities. Coordinate end‑of‑year awards, communications, and events. Develop and maintain good working relationships with media related to the assigned sport. Consult with the Athletic Director and Administration on playing conditions, safety concerns, program improvements, player performance, and related matters. Develop and support youth feeder programs at sub‑varsity, middle school, and youth rugby levels.
