About the Role: As an Order Picker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders within a warehouse or distribution center environment. Your primary focus will be to select and prepare products for shipment by carefully following order specifications and using various material handling equipment. This position requires attention to detail to maintain inventory accuracy and meet delivery deadlines, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with warehouse team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and maintain a safe working environment. Ultimately, your efforts will support the seamless operation of the supply chain and help the company meet its service commitments. Minimum Qualifications: Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations. Ability to operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts safely and effectively. Familiarity with RF scanning technology and inventory management systems. Physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items as required. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with palletizing and order filling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices. Previous experience working with computerized inventory systems. Strong organizational and time management skills. Responsibilities: Accurately pick and fill customer orders according to specified instructions and quality standards. Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to move products. Use RF scan guns and RF scanners to track inventory and confirm order accuracy throughout the picking process. Palletize and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols and company policies. Skills: The required skills such as order picking, operating electric pallet jacks, and using RF scan guns are essential for accurately selecting and processing customer orders on a daily basis. Proficiency with forklifts and pallet jacks enables the safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, reducing delays and minimizing damage. Skills in palletizing ensure that orders are securely prepared for shipment, maintaining product integrity during transport. Familiarity with RF scanners supports real-time inventory tracking and order verification, which helps maintain accuracy and streamline operations.
