Blaster/PainterThe Blaster/Painter is responsible for performing labor tasks utilizing blasting equipment in preparing company products for painting/coating and preparing/mixing paints, as well as applying to the product per customer specification.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform pre-inspection on any blasting or painting equipment before operatingPrepare equipment, materials and area around before starting blasting or painting activitiesBlast or paint according to customer specificationsKeep paint, blasting and other tools in good working orderInspect all equipment used, perform minor repairs and clean equipment as well as the work areaObey and follow all safety rules and policiesWear all appropriate safety equipment (PPE)Perform all other duties as assigned by manager and/or supervisorMinimum Qualifications and Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent education1+ year of blasting/painting experience in an industrial settingBasic written and verbal skillsAbility to perform work accuratelyMust be reliable and have good time management skillsFor new hires, must meet all Performance Energy Services employment qualifications in force at time of hiring, including successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment drug screenFor new hires, must successfully complete all required training by Performance Energy Services
