We are sure you’re amazing and look forward to meeting you when you move to our neck of the woods! Position Overview The Anderson School is looking for a vocal and piano instructor to join our team. Our ideal candidate has a degree in music with an emphasis in vocal pedagogy or performance and at least two years of teaching experience. They are also able to teach piano to an early intermediate level. We will consider current music majors for this role and are happy to train you. We are looking for candidates who have a solid foundation in the instrument they teach. You must be able to teach young beginners to adult. It is critical that our teachers instill a love for music in their students in our quest to build a generation of lifelong musicians. Ideally you live in the South Bay. Your ability to teach other instruments (esp. piano and/or guitar) is a plus. All lessons are taught in person at our Los Gatos location. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important. Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $42 per hour with a potential raise after a 90-day assessment period.
