Senior Network Engineer

Senior Network EngineerDataVizion is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and secure customer network environments across the region. The stack is Aruba switching and wireless, Aruba ClearPass, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and SD-WAN. This is a design-and-build role, not a queue role. You'll be the technical authority on your engagements, with the autonomy that comes with it.What Your Days Look LikeSolution design and documentationCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements before anything gets builtDesign and document detailed technical specifications and blueprints for IT systems and network solutionsEnsure designs adhere to industry best practices and applicable compliance standardsMaintain accurate, current documentation of architecture, configurations, and changesNetwork infrastructureDesign and optimize network infrastructure spanning LANs, WANs, and cloud-based solutionsImplement complex environments on Aruba, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platformsEvaluate and recommend network hardware and software; conduct proof-of-concept testing and make adoption recommendationsResearch emerging technologies and trends and bring forward the ones worth acting onSecurityImplement robust security measures to protect customer data, systems, and networksEstablish and enforce network security policies, define access, and monitor for violationsStay current on threats and vulnerabilities and implement safeguards before they become incidentsSupportProvide remote support, troubleshooting, and fault isolation for customers and on-site engineersCommunicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders, in writing and in the roomWhat You BringRequiredProven experience as a Network EngineerExtensive experience with dynamic routing protocols5+ years of experience with Aruba switching and wirelessKnowledge of SD-WAN solutionsProven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining sharp attention to detailExcellent listening and communication skills with technical and non-technical audiencesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong knowledge of network protocols, security, and infrastructureHighly preferredAruba ClearPass experienceFortinet firewall experiencePalo Alto Networks firewall experienceNice to haveProfessional certificationsBS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related disciplineLocationThis is a hybrid role and involves occasional travel to client sites across the region.
