Commercial Plumber

We're seeking a Commercial Plumber in Tampa, FL to install and maintain plumbing systems for diverse commercial construction projects.

Impact

• Deliver quality plumbing installations that ensure long-term system reliability and code compliance

• Support project schedules through efficient work execution and coordination with other trades

• Maintain safety standards that protect team members and project sites

• Contribute technical expertise to help resolve complex installation challenges

Responsibilities

• Install commercial plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, and waste systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings

• Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipe using hand and power tools

• Install fixtures, valves, pumps, and water heaters in commercial facilities

• Perform pressure testing and system commissioning activities

• Coordinate daily activities with other trades and project supervision

• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition

• Follow all safety protocols including OSHA requirements and site-specific rules

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience

• Journeyman Plumber license preferred

• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and installation practices

• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical specifications

• Own hand tools appropriate for the trade

• Valid driver's license

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with medical gas systems or backflow prevention

• Certification in welding or brazing

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• Experience with prefabrication and BIM coordination
