Director of Graphic Design

Hybrid Work Schedule: Split between 2-3 days in-office and remote workdays. Role Description: We are seeking a Director of Graphic Design to lead the graphic design vision, visual standards, and hands-on creative performance output across our multi-brand portfolio of direct-response beauty and skincare products. This role supports the look, feel, consistency, and executional quality of visual assets, driving creative that builds trust, supports customer acquisition and retention, and contributes to measurable revenue growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for a senior designer who thrives at the intersection of brand storytelling, performance marketing, and polished execution; equally comfortable designing or directing packaging, guiding high-performing email/CRM visuals creative, and developing scroll-stopping social ad creative before it launches into a testing funnel. You’ll lead the designer function, including a team of two graphic designers plus outside agencies and freelance talent, to produce creative that doesn’t just look good — converts customers, drives growth, and keeps customers coming back. You’ll partner closely with Media, Production, Digital Marketing/CRM, and E-Commerce teams to ensure every visual asset is on-brand, on-strategy, visually compelling, and substantiated by real clinical results. What you’ll do: Support the visual direction and design standards for all brands in the portfolio, ensuring each brand has a distinct, trustworthy identity while maintaining consistency and production efficiency across the group, where applicable. Set a high creative bar across ads, packaging, email, web, and e-commerce assets, actively designing, reviewing, and directing work ensuring every piece is polished, brand-right, performance-minded, and built to earn customer trust. Guide high-volume visual creative for Meta, TikTok, paid social, email/SMS, and other digital channels, using data, testing, and iteration to improve engagement, conversion, and retention. Direct packaging design, point-of-sale materials, direct mail, and print creative for retail and DTC channels. Oversee product photography, listing imagery, A+ content, and storefront design across owned e-commerce and Amazon. Translate clinical study data and before/after results into compelling, compliant visual proof points that build customer trust. Mentor, manage, and elevate an in-house graphic design team while coordinating with external agencies, production partners, and freelancers to deliver high-quality visual work at pace. Partner closely with Media, Production, Digital Marketing, CRM, and E-Commerce teams to translate priorities, claims, performance insights, and channel needs into effective creative. Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, visual standards, asset libraries, and design systems across a growing portfolio of products. What you’ll need: 8+ years of graphic design and creative leadership experience, with significant experience in direct-response marketing, DTC e-commerce, or performance-driven advertising; health, beauty, wellness, or consumer products preferred. 3+ years managing, mentoring, and art-directing graphic designers or visual creative talent. Strong hands-on graphic design background with a portfolio of polished, performance-minded DTC assets across paid social, web, packaging, e-commerce, and email/CRM. Fluency with lifecycle, CRM, paid social, and digital creative best practices, including rapid testing, hook/variant development, and data-informed creative decisions. AI proficiency - experience with generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and integrating AI into creative workflows. Strategic vision to align AI-enhanced creativity with brand goals. Strong portfolio demonstrating senior-level graphic design, art direction, social/digital ad creative, packaging, photography direction, and visual systems; video/DRTV experience a plus. Experience architecting and maintaining Brandfolder or similar Digital Asset Management ecosystems. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with production/editing workflows (Premiere, After Effects) a plus. Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Based in or willing to relocate to South Florida; able to reliability work on-site at the company's headquarters in Boca Raton, FL.
