Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk I to support our warehouse operations. This temporary position is responsible for receiving, storing, inventorying, and shipping materials while ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment.

What You'll Do

Shipping & Receiving

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips, bills of lading, purchase orders, and other shipping documents.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and deliveries.
• Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Process domestic and international shipments through FedEx.
• Sort and distribute incoming packages to appropriate departments.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately and timely.

Inventory & Warehouse Operations

• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Store inventory in designated locations and maintain proper organization.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy.
• Monitor and replenish shipping supplies as needed.
• Identify proper storage requirements for incoming materials.

Quality & Documentation

• Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Compare packing lists, shipping documents, and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Maintain receiving logs and required documentation.
• File and organize MSDS, COAs, and other shipping-related records.
• Report damaged materials, shortages, or inventory discrepancies promptly.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support special projects and other warehouse-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, medical device, or distribution environment.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping processes.
