Senior Electrical Project Engineer

A leading architecture and engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to lead complex building design projects across healthcare, higher education, government, commercial, and cultural markets. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team focused on innovative, sustainable, and high-performance electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design teams, including engineers, designers, and BIM specialists
• Manage electrical projects from concept through completion
• Develop scopes, work plans, budgets, and project schedules
• Perform electrical system design including power distribution, load calculations, and equipment sizing
• Review drawings, specifications, and documentation for code compliance and quality
• Collaborate with architects, owners, and multidisciplinary project teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 8+ years of electrical design experience within an A/E or consulting engineering environment
• Experience with healthcare, commercial, government, higher education projects
• Strong knowledge of NFPA codes and electrical design standards
• Proficiency with Revit and electrical analysis software (SKM, EasyPower, or similar)
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
