Senior Project Manager (Affordable Housing)

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of affordable housing developments, with a primary focus on LIHTC projects Oversee project feasibility, entitlements, financing coordination, design development, and construction Work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external stakeholders Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting requirements Coordinate with finance teams on LIHTC applications, closings, and compliance requirements Monitor construction progress and resolve issues to keep projects on track Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, including local/state housing agencies and LIHTC compliance Support the acquisition and due diligence process as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience in affordable housing development Proven experience managing LIHTC projects (ground-up or substantial rehab) Strong understanding of the LIHTC financing process, compliance, and regulatory requirements Experience working with public agencies, tax credit investors, and funding partners Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Experience Experience with mixed-finance or mixed-income developments Exposure to additional funding sources (HOME, CDBG, bonds, etc.) Background working with nonprofit or mission-driven housing organizations Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
